I’m sure all of you keen bloggers out there love to keep checking your Google Adsense earnings every couple of minutes. It’s just something we end up doing out of habit all the time, especially when the money really starts to roll in.
This is a great little toolbar that gives you a brief overview of your account in a little pop up window which you can see below. A feature I particularly like is the “lifetime revenue” figure which can be pretty encouraging for some people with a healthy adsense income.
It also has a brilliant feature that shows the ad overlays on your site. Basically this highlights all the ads when you go on (only you can see it) and tells you just how much each one is earning! It’s a brilliant feature that’s going to be incredibly helpful for trying to figure out how much each ad unit is making

Of course it’s also a bad thing if you get super obsessed with your earnings, because you’ll start spending too much time moaning that you’ve only made 1 cent today. You’ll claim to have followed every single post on how to make money, bought every e-book from the best bloggers and invested hours of your time every day into blogging.
In reality, if you are only making 1 cent a day after doing all this, you shouldn’t be blogging. However the chances are you aren’t being honest with yourself, and you’ve probably only done a quarter of what you’ve claimed to have done.
So my piece of advice to you, if you’re actually making something from adsense, go ahead and install the toolbar. But if you’re just starting off and don’t have any real income from adsense as of yet, don’t install it. Otherwise you WILL get obsessed with checking it every few seconds.

I never knew about this before, I am planning to have my own ad-sense soon, maybe by your post it gives me an idea where I can find my earnings soon.
I never knew that this tool before. I only knew of google chrome to access different applications, games, themes and own bookmarks. But the tool sounds fun since there is a brief overview of the adsense account. Maybe I will check this out to know if it is applicable for me.

wow this is awesome feature by this toolbar..people often check adsense every day 4 times..so now toolbar makes easy to check adsense…….can you tell me from where we download this toolbar…

Hi Robert, Now I know! Google Adsense is something which you can download to see your earnings from your site. It’s a shame never to have learned this before but it’s true. Somebody else is taking care of my site for me. At least I learn a day at a time. I’ve been so busy with my 9-5 job for 10 years and now I changed.It’s what I do, to build a good business online.

Hah, I so relate to “checking stats obsessively” as I’m doing it with my visitors count. Well, probably quite commonplace for other newbies too 🙂 But yeah, should definitely use more time on doing something rather than just staring those magic numbers doing nothing… Nevertheless, looks very handy toolbar.
Yes I don’t think you’re alone on that front. It’s hard not to get too caught up in it

I have tried this and was really impressed with it but as i am a mac user. So I am waiting for it to come to Safari Browser..
btw.. What I want the most is Adsense Stats like shown in the screenshot 😉
Who knows when it will come to safari, I can’t see Google developing it in a rush for apples software

I am using adsense publisher toolbar since the day it launch and and is really awesome.Specially I like the lifetime revenue section,that calculate total money earned from adsense.
